Date Passport & Date Ideas
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years. We always like to eat, drink, and explore new things! Sometimes it seems like we go somewhere to eat and go "I'll have the usual" or "Haven't we been there already? 3 times? in the last month?" Now don't get me wrong I love going to my usual spots [COZY CORNER DINER in CHICAGO] but I also like to explore new areas. Also, I want to stop saying, "let's go on a date" and it automatically tricks my brain to say, "which restaurant do I want to go to?"
The solution to my problem you say? EASY! Make a date passport. Too cheesy? probably. But this is a great way to STOP spending like 30 minutes deciding on what to do, and great way to check out new things within your vicinity.
MATERIALS: Small notebook [you can also make your own], Markers/Colorful Pens/Stickers, Paper [for writing down ideas], Internet.
All you need to do is do some research first! What do YOU like to do? What does your significant other like to do? Sporting events? Restaurants? Parks? Zoos? Beach? Breweries? Use the paper to write down places and Ideas. They don't have to be actual places, you can just jot down... fly a kite at the park and BOOM fun day at the park date. Personalize the book the way you want it! Mine had some writing on the front so I just put some masking tape and wrote on top it. The last page is our initials and date we started dating.
